STAR Geophysics was founded in 1986 by Kim Guyer, Phillip Hall and Julie LaFollette. All three were former employees of Professional Geophysics Incoporated and realized the need for processing still exsisted even though the industry was experiencing a down turn. 

    STAR Geophysics made its name by providing high quality seismic processing for companies all around the world.
